I was putting together some nibblies yesterday for DH & his best mate before they were going out to a late dinner. I put out some olives, artichoke hearts, bruschetta etc, but thought I'd need to do something a bit more as DH's friend is a chef... so...
I got some proscuitto from a deli and some asperagus spears. I chopped the asparagus in half after taking the woody bits off and then wrapped the 1/2 piece of proscuitto around the half spear and popped in on a baking tray. I drizzled them with olive oil and pepper. I popped it into the oven for 10 minutes and then under the grill for a minute or two either side. *drool*
