Can't help you Nadine but when I saw your post it made me realise that I've NEVER eaten a radish. Ever. So, I'm gonna go out and buy some. Which means I need recipes too. No salads cos it's way too cold atm!
What I remember from eating radish when I was little, was that it's a bit hot ... like it burned my mouth. Not like chilly, more like pepper. And have carefully scraped them out of salad when I was confronted with them. I only bought the darn seeds, because DH said he like radish, although since we've been together I have not once seen him eat any!!!
But now that I'm "older" I thought that I might give it a go again. Maybe my tastes has changed.
Punks, I found a "recipe" for radish on bread that looked way to simple, but now that you say you eat it with salt also, I might try it. It's bread spread with butter with thinly sliced radish on top and topped with some salt.
Cai .. that sounds like something DH would love too (anything deep fried for that matter) Do you have a dip idea that goes along with radish chips. Ohhh like that word radish chips.
