fruit gels

i made some fruit gels today but not sure how long they will keep for. the juice bottle stated to use within 5 days of opening so i assume the same applies to making anything with it.
my other question was should i sterilise the glass jars first???

At almost one I wouldn't sterilise the jars, little miss is probably picking up all manner of things & putting them in her mouth with crawling / walking around. When I did the fruit gels I kept them for around a week and I had used just regular juice, I'm not sure what it says about how long it lasts though.

They are aren't they & so much cheaper than buying them.
