Does anyone have a recipe for a rum bubba cake?

My stepfather's birthday is coming up and he's refusing to let us buy him anything. His favourite cake is the Italian rum bubba and I want to make him one seeing as we're giving him nothing

oh YUM! they are totally my fav cakes lol! but have no idea how to make them...i know how to order them at brunettis though

have you tried googling? always my failsafe plan lol! will go now and look....

ok, just did a google and taste com au has one for rum baba...have used recipes from there before with success...HTH!

Try googling rum baba or baba au rhum (I always thought it was a french recipe)?

see the italians seem to call it theirs lol! i reckon rum soaked cake should be universal lol!
