How do I add the flour after I stuffed up?

If you've read my last post in the lactation cookies thread, you'll know that when I "made" them last, I forgot to add the flour I still have the rest of the mixture in the fridge sans flour, and I want to finish them off. BUT... It's gone hard from the cold. Can I pop it in the microwave for a minute to warm it up and make it soft enough to add flour, or is it too late?

    I can't believe I forgot the flour

I'd be scared it would be in too long....I would use my hands to soften it a bit, do you have a mixer? like a big one? If my dough is cold and goes hard (like a rock) I soften it a bit with my hands, then break it and crumble into the mixing bowl, then add a little water/milk/oil and turn the mixer on, once its at the right consistency you could add the extra flour...

i wouldn't microwave it, just bring it to room temp. And maybe add a little more liquid if you're having problems mixing it in. It should be fine.

I'm just impatient, I want it NOOOOOOW!

Alright, I'll try using my hands and maybe a bit of warm water or milk...
