    Freezer recipe ideas

So in my ongoing quest to Get Organised, it seems that doing a big cook-up on the weekend of meals etc I can have in the freezer for work-day nights is a good idea.

So I am after some ideas- what can I cook and freeze and easily prepare of an evening?

What else do you keep in your freezer that makes life easier?

    Thanks!

    we always have:
spag bol (to either have as spag bol, or as pasta bake)
    chicken bol (same as above)
braised lamb or beef (with heaps of veg)
soup (with rolls ready to crisp up in the oven)
vegie bake (lotsa veg in cheesy sauce - great on it's own, or as a side dish for steak or chicken)
savoury mince - either by itself or topped with mash as a cottage pie
burrito mix - can reheat for burritos or use on corn chips/wedges with cheese for relaxed dinners on a friday/saturday night watching footy

hmmm, what else is in the freezer all the time? lol

lasagne type pasta dishes icome to mind - we don't have them pre made cos they don't take much at the time, but it's an option

no matter what we make though, we always pad it out really well with vegies so that it doesn't feel like we're eating uninspiring meals when we eat them (or unhealthy! spag bol on it's own is average - spag bol packed out with heaps of veg tastes better and is more healthy)

Standards in our freezer are usually:
    - Lasagne (meat and veg)
    - Pasta sauce (various kind depending on what veg, etc I had when I made it)
    - Cottage Pie (fully made up with meat and veg and topped with mashed potato)
    - Rissoles (to have as rissoles with veg or salad, or as 'hamburgers')
    - Home made chicken nuggets for DD (she loves them)
    - Ziplock bags of mixed steamed vegies (usually use them for quick meals for DD)
    - Soups

There are usually some muffins (either sweet or savoury) in there as well. Basically if I am cooking something that I think will freeze then I make extra and freeze some for the next week or next lazy night

Curries of all descriptions, stirfries, chilli con carne, soups...anything that freezes well, make extra and pop it in!
