    Pasta maker tips???

    Hi Gals

I received a pasta maker for my birthday (something I have been wanting for quite a while ), now I am after some of your tips on how to make some things.

I am getting quite good at making the sheets

Last night I made cannelloni, some bits of the pasta went a bit doughie... Should it have been thicker?

What is the difference between pasta made with eggs and that made with just water?

    Thanx girls

Tanya, I don't have one either, but good luck. Honestly I couldn't be stuffed making my own. I'd rather go pay the $2 for a bag

Fresh is best. We find that the pasta made with eggs tastes better, more flavour.
Good strong pasta making flour is a must. A bit doughie - could there have been too much water v flour.
And another good thing - DH thinks it is fun and even enjoys cooking dinner!!!!
