I am completely in love with bastourma! Especially in a salad of rocket, chevre, sumak, almonds and a poached egg on top! However I was after other ways to eat it, maybe more wintery?
Hi Rosead, I just use it as a bacon substitute really, but just fry it very lightly. So in pasta sauces, in meatballs, "storma" (that is what my daughter calls it) and eggs is one of our fave quick meals, usually eaten the middleastern way in pita bread. I put storma in jaffles, have put it in caesar salad.
