    Rice Flour???????

    Ok so i have a recipe to make shortbread and it says to use plain flour and Rice Flour but i can't find it in safeway?
    Do i need to go somewhere in particular to find it?

    OMG it was sold out in my Safeway too! They said something about not getting any for awhile either, so I raced down to the IGA and bought 2 boxes.

    Consider this a warning - it might be hard to find right now! Weird - I was just coming in to post this..

    I know our woolworths has it, but its in the health food isle, HTH.

    It may not be with the regular flours - in my IGA it is with the Baking powder with all the other cooking stuff and is in a small red box and is McKenzie brand - it only comes in a 500g box. If you still can't find it in the supermarkets, go to a health food shop.

    In our Safeway it is with the bi-carb soda etc. Red box. Hope you find it - shortbread - yum

    hehehehe, soon as I saw this thread I knew what it would be about... I walked the aisles for ages trying to find it and ended up calling my mum who told me it was in the health food aisles... man it's not cheap either, but my shortbread didn't even get to cool down before it was gone LOL..

    Mine was $1.54 for 375 grams - at the local expensive shop
