    Substituting honey.

    I have a recipe for sweetcorn pancakes that would make a great finger food for Sam (I think!). Only problem is that the recipe contains honey...

    What do you think I could use instead of the honey? Golden syrup? I'm really not sure...

    If it is cooked, then I would still use it - Botchulism is killed by heat

    If you are worried though, you can use normal sugar or golden syrup, a bit of malt and brown sugar would work too
