    Tuna and Potato Pastries

Just wondering if anyone can help me with a recipe possibly for the above? I really like the Ferguson Plarre tiddly oggies, and want to make my own, and put them in the freezer. And hopefully DD will like them (she eats the little tins of flavoured tuna on their own, so maybe I will make smaller ones for her lunchbox).

I have a large tin of plain tuna in my cupboard, that I will probably have to eat on my own, so a tuna bake or mornay would just go to waste, and I really want to eat these!

    Many thanks!

chop up some onion and fry off
(you can add grated carrot, zucchini, capsicum, corn kernels.....)

peel & cook potato and then mash

combine vegies & mash potato & tuna and mix together.

add herbs if you want ****

Then put mix in pastry. Seal edges of pastry with water, and then fork along the edges. Put holes in pastry with fork.

You can brush egg or milk over top and this will stick seeds down if you want them.

If you are going to freeze, then cook til pastry just starts to colour. Then they can get bit more colour when you are heating to eat without getting too much.

**** To make patties, you do same to this step, then make into patty shapes, roll in egg then roll in breadcrumbs. fry in oil in frypan. You can freeze these too.
