Granny Smith only, I can't stand red apples.

Zander likes any sort of red apples.

See, i only like Granny Smith's.

The are crisp and crunchy, and they have that tangy flavour.. it's everything i want in an apple!

But DH has gross taste in apples, so i'm forced to lower my standards at the supermarket, and buy "sub-standard" apples...

I want to know if people side with me or him...?

Since working at Woolworths I have tried every apple they sell and I would have to say Pink Lady are the best!! They are super sweet and crunchy.
I also love Fuji they kinda the same as pink lady but not as sweet.

I'm up for any apple that is IN SEASON........I hate any apple that has been sitting in cold storage for months and months......they still look nice, but there is no crunch or crisp juicy taste explosion & the flesh goes all powdery?

I used to only eat granny smiths, but I have found the quality to be lacking recently, so I have started buying Pink Lady's and they are delish. The kids prefer them too so it's easy to buy one lot. They are just as good for baking as granny smith's too.

I'm with Lucy

I go to the farmers market each weekend and have a wonderful apple man (I call him My Apple Man)who grows them himself and he can always tell me which are the best ones that week. There is nothing better than a fresh crunchy apple - be it red or green.
