    What do you call it

    So...Chow mien, Chop Suey, Kai Si Mien - the thing with mince, cabbage, chicken noodle soup, curry powder and whatever else your family puts in - whats it called in your house?

    The other one in lettuce is San Choy Bow.

    Cha mee, which is essentially Chow mien but in a different dialect. All translate to fried noodles

    Chow mein now but grew up knowing it as chop suet. San Choy bau is the one in the lettuce cups.
