Me, me and me. In his defence DH isn't here the majority of the time (but he lives on frozen meals I've cooked lol), and he's the worlds worst cook. He does clean up when he's here though so that redeems him :D

DH mostly does the cooking! I help him clean up. I'm a kept woman... LOL
I cook every night lately as dh is pulling long hours. But when he's home earlier of an evening he will cook more. He's always been very good in the kitchen and I admit he's a better cook than me!!! :)
Both of us cook but I do the most during the week b/c I am home more than DH. We share the dishes most of the time as it is quicker and then we both get to sit down together
Me, me and me - DH is away alot of the time - when he is here I still do it anyway....
I cook and clean up...and I hate it...I wish my DH would do more!
This is us mostly. DH does most of the cookingand most of the clean up. I help with preparation on weekends/days off but generally I get home from work, I want some time with dd and he wants some time without her underfoot so it works for us. If we have people over or are cooking something that takes more effort we cook together. There are some things I just make better than DH so I cook them.
I'm doing a lot more cooking at the moment cos he has had surgery. We're all a but unhappy with the situation. DD is missing the mummy time, DH is complaining of feeling displaced and useless - and I find I have zero appetite if I cook after work so Im making lovely meals and not enjoying them at all !!
I cook, clean etc. The boys will "help" as much as is safe for their age.
Hubby bought a drawer dishwasher and that's his part if doing the dishes, he won't even turn it on! it sits on top of the bench so the kids can't help there yet.
Hubby use to cook but when we came back his mum criticized him so much about it, he stopped cooking. Buying food from places is his version of cooking now. Atleast he does that.
Pz- does your Hubby have a brother? ;) you got a good 1 there
I think it would be nice to cook together. Or take turns and def agree 1cooks the other should clean- makes them tidyer when they cook i reckon
Sent from my Galaxy with the barefoot princess covering me in kisses, so please forgive the mistakes
I cook 5 nights of the week. I do breakfast one morning of the week. Actually at the moment I cook 4 times a week.
Mondays Dh has breakfast shift, so he's gone before we get up. So I make brekky for the girls and myself. Then Dh is sometimes home for dinner before he goes back to work and he'll cook. If he has to go back sooner and cant have dinner with us then I cook.
Dh does brekky every other day of the week. Dh cooks diiner every tues and wed on his days off.
When it comes to cleaning up, I normally do it, sometimes Dh will clena up, but he only does a quick clean, so Ill clean up later on.
Me. DP is not normally home for dinner and is generally home pretty late - varies from 9pm - 2am. So I get to clean it up too otherwise it would still be there in the morning.
LOL, like there's a choice.
the answer is me, cos bilby isn't up to cooking yet and takeaway costs too much.
It's interesting to see quite a variation.
I'm definitely feeling for those of you who have to do everything!! Big hugs! xxx
Me. Even when I was doing late/night shifts, I would cook and put it in the fridge for him to heat up. On the rare ocassions I don't pre-plan for him (such as last night when I went out for work) he either buys take away or takes DD to a cafe :wall:
Most nights me but DH will clean up, and if we are having steak he cooks because I'm terrible at it!!!! I also only work 3 days and an generally home earlier. He does enjoy it though and if he's home early enough will do it.
I do and when it's DHs turn he outsources!
Me usually, only because DH is at work 5 nights lol. He's a much better cook than me, so he usually cooks on the weekend. Especially BBQ, I'm not allowed to touch that!!
DP cooks and cleans 90% of the time. I used to be the one who cooked and cleaned 100% of the time in both previous marriages so the change of roles took some getting used to. He says he likes cooking and after years of doing it, I can't say I do, so it's how we came to this arrangement.
I cook only when I want to now, when I want to eat something he can't make.
You already know that answer in my house lol
