hi everyone
My eldest DD came home from school with some homework for me - to find some recipes that i could cook in the classroom - using only a fry pan or fridge. So i thought the best place to find some recipes would be here!!!!! (you all have great ideas
I had thought of potato cakes, and someone else has already cooked fried rice and omolettes.
Thanks in advance!!
You can get muffin mix and do drop scones. Get well greased egg rings and drop dollops into the rings, turn them over and cook on the other side. Then serve with butter and icing sugar. Do you *have* to use the frypan? Otherwise you could do a no bake slice...
Jazmum - fruit skewers, they can all thread their own bits of cut up fruit onto skewers and then dip into flavoured yoghurt (honey flavour works well for this) plus you'll get a bit thumbs up for healthy eating!!
Jelvie - i haven't done anything yet, just waiting to organise a day that i can go into the classroom. If none of the other parents have put their name down for pikelets, i might do those. At least there would be a fair amount that they could each do. My DD is in prep
What about sometihng like apricot balls what have crushed bisc., chopped apricots and condensed milk, then rolled in coconut? Then in the fridge to set!
