    Angry Mud!

My girls were running under the sprinkler a few hours ago. They were having a good time & I just left them to it while I did a few things.
After a little while I heard Jaz yell 'Quick Bri! There's a car coming!'
I stuck my head out to see them both standing at the fence armed with a handful of mud each waiting to throw it at the passing car!!!
I went out & roused on them to hear the same thing 10 minutes later!
Again I told them 'Don't you dare!'
They played around a bit, then when I heard mud hit the front of the house I thought 'thats enough'.
I went & showered them & put the Simpsons movie on, fed them & settled in to chat on BB.
About an hour late I got a knock on the door.... Our next door neighbour....
'Just thought I'd let you know your kids threw mud on our cars'
They were hosing them down & I could've died! Jaz came to the door & I asked her about it & she just grinned like it was the funniest thing she'd heard!
I told him I'm really sorry & sent her to her room, then told Bri she was in trouble too, but really... why do kids do these things?

oh I know its naughty but I bet they had so much fun..

I would have got the girls to help clean the cars..

I too would be mortified if my kids did that though..

Oh that is so funny, couldn't help but laugh. They are only kids, what can you do.

Ummm...because they can! They probably just spent one of the funnest days they've had in a long time. We forget about fun when we're serious grown ups who like clean stuff! LOL

DH just got home & I told him what happened. He tried sending them to their rooms again, but then looked at me, giggled & said 'I can't talk! I would've done the same thing!'
