    Direction of Writing on Border

I found a lovely poem for my sisters 21st birthday and I have made a double page scrapbook for her. The poem fits perfectly around the borders of the layout but I need your opinion on which way the text should be written.

The text goes around all four sides of both pages so how should I write the text so it flows from one page to the next? It would be so much easier if I had a diagram to explain this....should I start on the right hand side of the first page, down, around the bottom to the left, up the left hand side, around the top and then straight over to the next page and around? Does that make sense?

I would start at the top left corner and go across the top and down the right hand side in a clockwise direction.

Thanks Ausgirl. In the trial run, I started on the left hand side and went around in a clockwise direction but DH said it didn't look right. I'm thinking it might be the best way for it to make sense though.

yeah that would be my thought too

i would also bold or somehow emphasise the first letter/word so that it's obvious where it starts

Thanks BG. I was wondering about the start of it too and like your idea.
