Well I just had my first real go at digital scrapbooking and I think I'm hooked! I have been searching around for templates to send an e-card for Christmas, and I was getting nowhere. I read a bit more about digital scrapbooking, and I thought why not give it a go?! Downloaded some backgrounds, found a tutorial for Photoshop Elements, and wha-la! I've made a cute little xmas card with DS as the feature photo.
I'm looking at creating a calendar online through Big W. I'm assuming you can import any layouts you create into their software into the calendars?
Woohoo on the digital scrapbooking - you might need to give me a lesson or ten!!
As for Big W they have a few backgrounds you can use, but I haven't imported any in before - I know I've uploaded photos there before obviously, but can't recall if you can do the same with templates.

With Big W - if you can create your layout to the same size as their page, save the completed item as a photo (jpg) file - you can then upload and make the photo take up the whole page. i've done it with photo books. just make sure that you leave a bit of a border - it can sometimes snip bits off even though they look like they're on the page
i'm a little hooked on digi scrapping. about to start on DD's milestones book - we didn't get given one, so i'm going to create it. my billing month for net ends at midnight, so i've been downloading lots of yummy bits to use so that i can create whatever i want. i have some generic stuff, some pages that you just need to add photo and journalling to - and i'll use them sometimes - but i like doing my own thing too
Thanks BG for the tip about the Big W calendars. They've got their 2 for 1 deal on again but it finishes on Tuesday night so I've got to get cracking if I want them done
Off to go register with the site now and see what its all about.
