Essence of eggnog?

Does anyone know whether there is an easy way to create that nice eggnoggy flavour without using alcohol?

We do cold nog. Good eggnog is just as awesome without alcohol. But if you want similar flavour go rum essence. A little at a time so not to go overboard.

My nog is egg whites to stiff peaks, then in a separate bowl egg yolks with sugar beat till pale then add cream, milk and nutmeg, then add alcohol (we add white rum), then gently fold (I use a whisk) in the egg whites. If using essence it can be added at the end.

Unless you're a complete lush (like us lol) you shouldn't need to taste the alcohol.

I swear by my nog. I've had nog aficionados tell me I make the best nog.

Derp. Just realised what you are asking. I'd just make something creamy with rum essence and nutmeg.
