So how's your day going? It's starting to get latish, guess they'll be on the way back now?
Anything special for tea tonight?
Hope today went ok, it's a lovely thing to want your DD to get to know her father despite the pain it's causing you. You're amazing woman!
I hope you had a fun-filled & busy day to take your mind of missing your DD. I just want to say what a wonderful thing you've done for her....really leading by example and demonstrating how courageous you truly are.
Hugs, babe xx you have such a strong bond with her, it will all be ok.

Sorry i haven't written back about how it went sooner..
she had a great time.. they took her to their place and to the beach and out to lunch.
it was pretty hard the first hour after she left but i just tryed not to think about it.. watching her be carried out the front door was the hardest thing I've ever had to do..but i kept telling myself that i was doing the right thing.. xp's mum and sister brought her back home, xp didn't come to bring her back..his mum and sister were really appreciative of the time they got with dd.. i wont go into details about xp. but overall it was a positive experience for dd !
thanks so much everyone for your love and support in helping me get through this truly means everything xx
It is fantastic that DD had a great time!
Sounds like your daughter has a very special mum, grandmother and aunt. You're very brave and what you did was a tough thing to put yourself through, but your daughter will appreciate it. My parents are long long divorced, I was about 10 when it happened and my mum always tried to keep the relationship solid with my dad and us. Even though he's very self-absorbed and forgets about us most of the time, I am forever grateful to my mum for not pushing her reasons onto us and letting us make our own. Grace is a very lucky girl to have you for her mum.
