Oh no! Frustration! At least you've learnt from this situation. Be more sneaky!
This morning I decided to do a tidy of DD1's bedroom. It was a complete distaster, so instead of just piling everything into tubs I thought I will do a mini sort as I picked up. Well thought it was also a good time to do a bit of a cull as well. Carried a few items to the bin and then decided to grab a plastic bag. Managed to get that full of broken bits, dog chewed items, those crappy items that are never played with but are just thrown on the floor to be trodden on etc.
Well, I was caught! She came into the bedroom just as I was leaving with the bag and could see what was in it. (Note to self, do not use a see through bag next time, also don't be so ambitious). So now all my hard work has been undone in less than 30 sec as it is all over the floor again![]()

oh no! It's funny how when you are trying to get rid of things, those crappy, broken toys that are never played with suddenly become the kids' most precious possessions!
and mine - I feel your frustration
hmmm my DH sounds as bad as your daughter! i've given him the job of cleaning out Gremlins wardrobe - it's now taken weeks and we still have all the crap in there cos he simply can't get rid of stuff from his childhood - even if they're so far beyond even being recognisable...
sorry, no advice - but hopefully you can get rid of all the crap again without her noticing very soon...
Managed to sneak in whilst she was distracted and grab the most obvious stuff. She did not notice!![]()
Does she go to daycare or anything? I do all o my sorting while Zander is at preschool so he never knows![]()
She goes to childcare 1 day a week, but I am normally busy that day. It was really just a spur of the moment thing that I was doing, nothing planned.
