    What I realised today (funny!)

I bought some disposables as a "back up" just in case we have a really wet day and my AIOs don't dry on the line (no drier here) and also becuase we are taking a trip down south to my grandmother at some point and will be cravaning = no real washing facilities.

    So I realised today:

    Disposables are SO ugly!

Okay so now I have pretty AIOs that is a totally biased opinion and I know that it doesn't REALLY matter what they look like becuase there will be clothes over them, but I was shocked when I opened the pack.

I also turned one over, turned it around, unfolded it, had a look at it and realised that:

I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO DO WITH IT.

My poor child will probably grow up really confused or something...or realise that it's mother is disposable-challenged.

PMSL Amanda. That's hilarious. Does the pack have instructions on it?

PMSL!!! Yep they are ugly, even though they try to pretty them up, they just are too papery.

Same as an AIO - find the tabs and put them at the back

Do the stretch bits on the side go on the inside of a leg, or on the outside of a leg?

I hope I use them up fast, they are offending my sense of style ;-)

I ended up with Snuggler's ONLY becuase the Huggie's newborns apparently are for up to 4n5kg and the Snugglers are apparently for up to 6kg.

If I don't use them all I'm happy to pass them on to somone who needs them anyway, so am not too concerned.

Baby will be in them once in a blue moon anyway :-)

haha - that reminded me of a story I read somewhere. Heidi Klum had no idea that sposies had grip tabs - and she was tying them on with string at first!

Yes they are hideous, and no there isnt much you can do to help that - except to cover them with a cloth nappy! lol

Stretchy bits being the leg gussets or the back of the nappy? Kind of confused there I doubt you will use them up, but DH might

    The leg bits...

Mr. Man looked at one last night and wasn't sure if they go on the inside or outside of the legs either. However he has not changed a nappy for 23 years.

Both agreed that the AIOs are much prettier. And take up less space.
