TTC, charting & while breastfeeding

Hi,

Now I got my first period about 2 weeks ago, we are thinking of TTC soon. I am still breastfeeding my 18mo DD, including night time. I just started charting, too in a hope that it will help me see whether my body is getting back to my prior fertility

Does anyone have experience with charting while still breastfeeding? Do you find it that your cycle is not consistent?

Hi there!
I know there are many who have regular, ovulatory cycles whilst breastfeeding. For me, it take a long time for my period to return post-partum and I don't have regular cycles at all whilst breastfeeding. I do have a history of longer cycles though so that probably comes into play as well.
Good luck. Hopefully you will be lucky enough to have regular cycles and conceive whilst still breastfeeding but it doesn't work that way for me.
