This is going to sound really sloppy ... it's a my autie's autie's daughter type of thing
I have a gf that works with me. She just started dating this awsome dude (have not met him yet, but he sounds AWSOME) and this morning she told me something really interesting.
He can feel where her pain is. She could have a headache and he would touch her arm and tell her that the pain in in the eyes or something like that. Also he can SENSE if ppl are sick ... even if they don't know they are AND he can read palms.
Just to give you a example. She had a gf visit her and for "silly fun" let him read her palm and he told her that she had an affair not to long ago. It turned out to be true, but the woman never told anybody. Also he told her that he SENSES two sons, but on her hand he only SEES one. She burts into tears, because her one of her sons died a long time ago.
Another example: They met up with some of her other friends for coffee and after they left he told her that she should visit them much more, because he senses that both of them have AIDS, but ONE of them are really, really ill. Now both of them does have AIDS. She knew that, but did not tell him.
I wanted to know if anybody has some experiance in this?? She wants me to bring my DH over for a visit so that he can observe him and maybe figure out why he is getting the headaches that he does, along with the numbness in his fingertips and toes. Now we are going to a dr on Tuesday, but it would be interessing to know what he says.
As my mum massages people she picks up pain in certain parts of the body. I know of other people who do similar things. He sounds very accurate, it would be interesting for him to meet your DH, you will have to let us know how it goes

: just didn't make sense - too tired
I will first have to get my DH to go!!! He is so not into stuff like this. She said that she will invite us for dinner sometime next week. I will find it EXTREAMLY interessing to hear what he says.
Also he freaked her out a bit, because the first time they met, he took her hand and ask her to tell him what place he is seeing. He went on to describe a white room with lots of light and a open feeling, then you walk through a narrow space into the outside and then you can see very far. He described her new appartment
I have experienced something in a similar vein. When I studied massage, we were asked by one of our teachers to consider our ability to feel what is going on in a body by simply holding hands over or on the body. We all ran hands hovering over a person's body and would stop where we felt something. Interestingly 9/10 times the person we were reading confirmed that the area we stopped was an area of injury or pain... It really opened our eyes to using all of our skills to assess people we treated.
It is something that I believe we all have, we just need to tune in to it a bit more.
JR, I was going to reply last night that I have learnt how to do that healing also (but not with massage), I think its called psychic healing, or kinetic healing or something like that. I learnt it years ago from a guy named Colin Lambert from New Zealand (he has since passed on).
