How to help DD get over her cold ready for MRI Monday

Hi My DD is having a MRI Monday she is almost 7 months old and has a lump over her fontenelle that they think is a fatty type cyst ????

So the Pead Surgeon wants a MRi done to make sure there is no connection to her brain - they have done Ultrasound upto date but he wants a better picture.

They are going to be doing it under sedation as its her head and she needs to stay still for the procedure she needs to be breathing properly.. I am worried they will say they cant do it

Well DS got a little cold and brought it home (weve had it 3 times in 3 months) now she has it she is sounding good through the day but a little thick at night.. - i know if they say no they cant do it because she has a cold its best for her which is fine but ide really like to try help her get over it and get this done...

What can i do to help her fight the cold and Fingers crossed hope its gone by Monday..

I have started giving my boy probiotics (blackmores daycare defence) to try and strengthen his immune system but what can i do for a 7 month old.

    Any suggestions are appreciaed.

    Thansk

I can't help you out with getting over a cold as I don't think there is much you can do..

My Ds had an MRI at 12 days old but thankfully he didn't need sedating he also had one at 5yrs and also didn't need sedating.

Good luck I hope she is better.

Health food shops have probiotics for babies. Neocare or Life start. Vit C is prob the best, maybe ask at the health food store what a baby can have. xo

My sister swears by olive leaf extract as an immune booster for her kids. I haven't tried it yet myself and I'm not sure what age it's ok to start, her youngest is 2.

    Good luck!
