Just wondering if my centre charges $60per day and i recieve 100% benefit from centrelink will the gap be the same as any other centre that charges the same amount or do they still vary. thanks!
If another centre charges $60 per day, then the gap should be exactly the same - aslong as your CCB % is the same as well. On 100% you'll pay around $10.
yeah im paying $18.03 but at another centre i am trialing atm its $55.50 a day and i only pay $9.39.. so they must differ otherwise it should only be a difference of $4.50 right?
As far as I know, the only way the gap is higher is if the centres full fee is also higher. The hourly rate of rebate is set by the governmetn and the centre has to pass that on - are you saying you are paying a larger gap at a centre whose full fee amount is the same as another centre which you pay a lower gap at?
yes i'm bored! Bubba sleeping so i'm checking bb in hospital!
If the two centres charge same number of hours per day and same or no extras - nappies food etc - it will be the same gas - but you are always best to check each centre
well just to clarify ..lol
one centre 100% $60 per day gap= $18.03
2nd centre 100% %55.50 per day gap = $9.39
so based on same percentage you would assume second centre would cost $13.50
im thinking maybe one centre is charging 11 hours and another 12? could that be the difference?
sorry to confuse! and i should so be asleep!!
Yes, the hours they charge for per day will make a difference too - my centre is 6-6 so a 12 hour day, others may be less if they work 7-6 it would only be an 11 hour day. This affects how they calculate your rebate (or their computer more to the point).
