A bit of a strange problem.....

My grandmother has knit two pairs of longies for Jack and they are absolutely adorable.
I was telling her how much I loved them and in my enthusiasm I exclaimed "you know these sorta things sell for about $30...and there's never enough around, they sell in a flash...you could make some good pocket money!".

Anyway, I took the longies home and didn't think any more of it. This afternoon my grandmother rings me and asks "so, how do I sell these things....cos I just bought $70 worth of wool".

Oh No! I didn't mean for her to literally rush out and go and buy wool to make more longies, LOL. I was just trying to be nice...and make conversation...HAHAHAHAHA.
Should I just get her to make a few different sizes and then list them on ebay or B4B for her?? I feel a bit bad that she spent all that money (a lot for a pensioner). I wish she had of talked to me about it properly first, LOL, and I could have asked for advice before.

Ohh that's gorgeous Marlene! If they're good enough quality, then yeah I guess list them on B4B with a minimum price. If they're good enough quality, maybe even message your FB cloth using friends or something and see if they're interested in a custom pair?

Your grandma sounds like a real sweetheart.

Ohhh, how beautiful! That is so precious! Yeah, I'd sell them for her. Make sure she knows there's no time limit, so she doesn't get into a frenzy and wear herself out. But go for it! Why not? It'll take a couple fo minutes out of your day, and make a darling pensioner a few $$$ richer.
Don't feel so bad about her spending the money. Pensioners are pretty awesome with handling their cash. My nan always amazes me with what she can do on not much.

    Good luck!
