early pregnancy discharge.... warning TMI

I am a little concerned, I hope this is in the right section, I have no pain or discomfort but when I wiped this morning there was like a brown gunky discharge. It wasn't a huge amount, is this normal? I googled it, but am not liking what I am hearing. I am nearly 6wks. I hope I am ok. I will go see my GP tomorrow but am wondering if anyone had the same sort of thing happen. Thanks

Mitzy, I had the same thing at about 6 weeks - it was old blood at that time, I then had few other brown discharge moments and then had a fresh blood (red) bleed at just over 8 weeks.

All is well now for me and bleeding (old blood and sometimes new blood) can be quite common in early pregnancy - but it never hurts to have it checked out

Thank you for your reply. It has eased my mind a little. I just read the bleeding thread (didn't see it before I posted) and I hope all is ok. I will definately go to my GP tomorrow. For peace of mind.

Bleeding is perfectly normal early pregnancy but it does help to have things checked for peace of mind
hope everything is going well with the pg.
