    Eczema

As part of my cloth nappying, I'm using water and a little baby wash to wash DS's bot at nappy changes instead of wipes. I've been using cloth since he was just 3 weeks but only just recently went off wipes. Small problem, the water seems to be causing me really bad and quite painful eczema on my fingers and hands. Does anyone have any suggestions that i could try - whether its a type of wash or another way to clean him, or even something i can use to keep the eczema at bay? Many thanks in advance for any suggestions.

    Hi there,

Have you tried QV bath oil wash? When I wash DD (who has really bad eczema on her butt) i put a bit of the bath oil on the wipes. That might help with your skin (as I dont have eczema myself so am not sure)

Our Doctor and skin specialist recommended it as DD too cannot be washed with just tap water.

    Hope that helps.

I've been using Invisible Glove, a plant based barrier cream, on DD's bottom lately to stop her teething wee/poo causing burning/eczema type symptoms, and it's working really well for that. It's probably worth a try for your hands too.

Ahhh. I was looking at Invisible Glove recently wondering if it was any good. And my sister uses some of the QV products. Thanks girls, I'll give them a go.
