    Post Fertility specialist in Melbourne

We've been TTC for 12 months now and I think it's time to seek some medical help. Can anyone recommend a fertility specialist around Prahran?

    Hello,
I cant recommend anyone at Parhan, but my DH and I went through Dr Julie Whitehead who is with MIVF in East Melbourne. We found her to be great, and she was really good with DH who does not like Drs - especially ones telling him that his are not great!

I know others who have been at MIVF and they have had good things to say about the FS they have seen, in particular Kate Stern and Manuela Toledo.

Feel free to PM me if you want any further info.
    Good luck

Hi there - we went through Dr John McBain also at Melbourne IVF on Victoria Parade. He was great, very too the point but really knows what he is doing. We got our BFP after one stim cycle (failed to get BFP but managed to get 8 embryos out of the cycle) and first FET was sucessful, so he is a bit of a hero to me!

    GL with it all.

    Hi Mez,

I too went through MIVF and saw Dr. Jim Tsaltas. He was GREAT! I had severe endo and he's part of Endometriosis Care Association so once I had my surgery, I was able to go straight onto IVF with him also which was great. I am now pg too

    Good luck.

We're seeing Dr Greg Fox at MIVF in East Melbourne, he is also really lovely. To the point, no nonsense, but considerate and caring as well.

Dr McBain is really well-known in the legal world ...for being a total hero in advocating for access to IVF. I'm secretly hoping I'll get to meet him one day...

Thanks ladies! There I was thinking, "yep we'll be UTD in a matter of months" and now there is so much more to consider. Luckily we have options!
