    Question Cramps during pregnancy..??

Hello out there... it's been a while, my little cherub is almost a year old now!
I have a couple of questions... my last pregnancy is a bit of a blur so I can't remember if these things are normal... and I really could not be bothered getting up off my pregnant behind to go to the doctor and ask... just yet :P
Ok.. first up, cramps.. I've been having what feels like normal menstrual cramps, I'm approximately 8 weeks along.. I'm pretty sure that this is normal for me but I'd just like a little reassurance...
Question #2, is there any drugs or remedies anyone can reccomend for this dredded dizzyness I keep getting?? All day, everyday... my head feels like I'm constantly drunk! I can't get rid of the dizzyness, I've tried drinking lots of water.. that just makes me want to vomit..please if anyone can shed some light on these two subjects that would be awesome!

    Cheers,
    Mel

The cramps are totally normal. Just your uterus changing shape for the baby.

As for the dizziness, I'm not sure, but I can hope you sort it out!

Cramps - pretty normal, but if really painful or bleeding, speak to dr

Dizziness - I got this too. I found I wasn't eating enough salt - so I added a bit more to my diet, not heaps though. I also ate every 2 hrs at a min and that helped out as well.

Cramps normal as the others have said.

I got dizzy with low blood pressure and low iron. Try eating more red meat and also to help with the absorption of iron into your blood you will need to increase your Vit C, so also eat more citrus (mandarins are my fav at the moment!) and drink plenty of good OJ.

If it gets to the point of getting in the way of your normal activity then maybe just ring up your GP/OB/MW and ask - you might need to have your BP and iron tested.

I had cramps at 8 weeks with my first two pregnancys just keep an eye out for any bleeding. Then c your dr :O)

I also had bad dizzyness with my first pregnancy. It was high blood pressure which is really important to keep an eye on. Next time your at the Dr or OB I'd get them to check it.

    Good luck with your pregnancy.
