Haute inserts too big for pocket???

Have 2 new Hautes and can't get the inserts to fit properly in the pockets without bunching them up. Lying the insert flat on the pocket gives me an extra inch or two of insert. I phoned the owner of the online shop and she assured me that they are long but they do fit and she has sold hundreds....etc etc etc
Not sure what my question is but maybe someone has experienced the same??

Ok if you have them on the smallest setting only put the smallest one in. For the medium settingunclip the inserts and lay the smaller insert about 2-3cm from the top of the large and fold the extra 2-3 cm of the large back over the smaller insert. Hold on to this and put your whole hand into the pocket. You can keep doing this on the large setting also espeically if you find you need some extra protection in the front. HTH

Sometimes I grab the back of the pocket once I have put the insert in, and pull it out more so the insert sorta slips into the pocket completely.
