Size of BBH magicalls and itti bitti's

Ok, atm I'm getting a few brands of nappies to try to see what suits DD best and if I like doing cloth. So far so good!

I got a BBH magicall which I think is super cute. DD is somewhere over 6kg, maybe 6.5 but haven't got her weighed for a while so I'm not sure. She's pretty chunky looking, pmsl, with chubby thighs. Anyway, I got a medium magicall and it fits good around her tummy but I think it's a bit loose around the legs still. It looks fine but if she lifts her legs up there's a bit of a gap there so I think it would leak if she was lying on her side. I'm not going to bother getting small bc she's growing so fast it would just be a waste of money so I'll just wait til she grows a bit more.

I wanted to know if the itti bitti's in medium were smaller or bigger or about the same as the magicalls?? Was thinking of trying some mediums of them out??

Ittis are more trim - BBH are quite a big sizing - the larges were far too big for DS even when he was 18 months old.

Miss M has been in the mediums since about 6 months - but that was only because she had chicken legs - no chunk to be seen unfortunately!

    Hey chickie,
can't comment on the BBH but Nate's about that weight and he's been in a med itti for weeks now. It's not the best fit around his legs, but there isn't a gap unless he puts his feet all the way up to his mouth.....
ETA he's another chicken legged kid

ooohh......ok, now to convince DH I NEED to get some, lol. I like that you just snap in the boosters too, don't have to put them in the pockets. Not that that's hard, but I am lazy, pmsl.

Stuffing doesn't bother me! It's worth it once it's on their butt sooo cute....
    I love snap-in's too!!

Sara - I am wanting some Medium Itti's also (as you know)... at the baby expo they usually have bulk deals where you save $$... just had a thought... we could go halves in a stash... ? Maybe even Candice might wanna aswell...!! Rather than having to buy 10 to save money you only have to buy 5, i'll buy the other 5 if that makes sense!!

eta - we have medium magicalls but haven't even bothered trying them on Miss A... shes fitting nicely in her smalls still!! She's so lean

Ren that is a really good idea and now I can also tell DH that I need to get one to try out now so I can see if I want to get them at the expo!

Oh wow, X must be huge! Or I am doing something wrong .

Sara - this one you have to tell your DH is Ren's fault LOL. Ren and I should share the blame so your DH doesn't think I am your only "enabler" .

EDIT - are we getting Medium Itti's??

    Yeah definitely Medium's!!!

Candice - small BBH magicalls are 4kg-7kg so most bubs will start on this size... Ava is still under 7kgs so fits it nicely. she's also long and lean and has the tiniest butt so no rush for her to fit mediums yet... im glad we get good use out of em!

I think it's my fault you are both cloth addicts now... remember a short time ago you both thought i was completely mad!!!

Yay Sara! Let us know how the Itti goes! D'lish?

Measure around her thighs if you like and I can tell you how they compare with Ruby Her leggies are a bit too lean for medium ittis yet but I can get magicalls on her as they are velcro ones and can be adjusted a bit tighter.

Yep, Medium D'lish... are they snap ins or sewn in or both? I'd prefer snap ins.
