Question What can I use instead of wool wash?

    So...yeah, that!

I have no wool wash and cant get any at the moment but really need to hand wash these longies...

Will warm water with some essential oils do the job? Or is there something else I can use?

(They arent *soiled* just smelly and need a wash really)

    TIA

I've been known to use a bit of my hair conditioner.... only the natural one (Miessence or Mops) when I've been out of wool wash and really wanted to wash my longies.

Normal washing powder - I've always used that on wool and it's been just fine for me.

I was told by the place that I bought the capsule sheepskin liner to use hair shampoo (I am bound to have to clean that once) so when I finish the bottle of wool wash I have I am going to buy cheap shampoo for my woolens.

Hair conditioner. I've never done it but I've been told that it works wonders.
