Anyone in Melbourne want to babysit for one another (for free)?

I work evenings & had an idea that if there is someone who works days, we could babysit for one another? I work 4-8pm Tuesdays and 2-11pm Thursdays, so could babysit around these times.
My DD is nearly 8mths old now and is a very happy, content baby. And she self settles (bonus!!). I'd be happy to babysit bubs same age or younger.
I would pay for a babysitter, but considering I don't earn much more than what they charge, it would be fairly pointless in working if I needed to pay for one!

Good idea? We're in Melbourne. We live in Heidelberg & I work in Surrey Hills.

I've heard of babysitting type clubs you can join - where you can swap babysiting 'jobs' with other families. I think they do police checks on people and stuff. I'm not sure where you find them, maybe google ?

That's a great idea! I'd take you up on your offer but I live too far away from you and I have 3 older monsters which probably woulnd't be a fair trade. lol
