Pop it into a plastic bag and put it in the freezer for a couple of houre. Assuming that the bag is stitched together rather than glued the leather won't be affected but it will make the chewy all hard and crumbly. If the leather is glued together (it won't like being frozen) then grab some ice cubes, put them in a sealed plastic bag and put them over the chewy (so that you freeze it without the leather IYKWIM. Just try not to get it wet in the process and this makes it harder to get off.

Could chewy be considered a stain? To clean stains off leather you can use dry cleaning fluid, apply with a cotton ball. Put talcum powder over the absorb it and then brush off. The ice trick reccomended by Muppity is usually the go for chewy though.

Maybe take your bag to the dry cleaners and ask advice, they can probably get it off for you (for a fee of course!)

    Good luck
