Hi girls,

I was just wondering if there is anyone (not homebirthers) who has successfully had a water birth (shower, pool or bath) in hospital without any intervention with VBAC?

I'm going for my 2nd VBAC and really don't want to be vaginally monitored like they have told me I need to be, or like I was last time. Which would mean a harder labor and I would most likely not deal with the contractions like the last 2 times, and end up with an epidural and an assisted birth. Yeeeeouch!!!! I at least want to have time in the shower.

I just need to hear if it has happened with anyone? And how did you tell them what you wanted without being a pushover or a *****?
