I have the most excurtiating back pain in my middle back
i have tried heat packs ice gels and panadol and have had 0 releif
im allergic to ibuprofen so i cant have voltaren, advil or nurofen
its driving me to tears
i have the flu also and ive had tami flu...
I agree with Michelle. Paracetamol + codeine is the only way to go if you can't have anti-inflammatories. Panadol back and neck is long lasting paracetamol. One higher up (with regards to pain relief) is panadeine, then panadeiene 15 for stronger pain relief. Mersyndol is better for night as it will make you drowsy ( is a good muscle relaxant though). Speak to your pharmacist hun.
What component of the iboprufen are you allergic to? And what happens when you have it? The answer to those questions would influence what I would reccomend.
BUT, chatting to your phamracist is going to be a good start esp if you're on Tamiflu. Is the pain linked to the flu? I was having horrid pain with the flu and nothing could take it away - keep taking your tamiflu as that helped me get over the flu much quicker than I would have otherwise.
Thanks guys
MG- the component is the part that targets specific pain. With Voltaren i get the shakes and a rash with nurofen and advil i vomit non stop until i get an injection and sometimes i have breathing problems
I talked to the pharmacist he said panadol which doesnt give much relief so i guess ill wait it out i brought a new heat pack (the other was so very old) and its given me more relief than any meds as of yet.
thanks again everyone
Sorry hon - that stinks for you. You could get a script for tramadol.Def don't want to be taking anything that might affect your breathing. Hang in there.
