    My nappies are soooo soft

Just thought I'd share a new discovery of mine though others may already know this. I've had my stash for about 15 months and have washed them as per instructions ie. a little bit of washing detergent, line dried and usually a prewash cycle.

Well I'm not the best housekeeper in the world and so I forgot that I had clothes on the line and of course it rained. I refuse to take wet clothes off the line unless they're really needed, waste of energy IMO.

Anyhoo, I left a load of nappies on the line and it rained for about three days solid (who would have thunk it WA hasn't seen rain for so long). When they evenutally dried I found the most wonderfully soft nappies just like when they first arrived on my doorstep. Obviously the drenching removed any build up in the nappies.

So the moral of the story is if you need to strip wash your nappies leave them in the rain for a few days and they'll come up a treat. Think of all the water you'll save.

ps. if you haven't got enough nappies to do this you're obviously not a complete addict like me

hehe I am the same, if something is on the line and it rains it stays there until it's dry. ITA about them being soft, as long as they aren't left in the scorching sun, did that once and they were stiff as a board lol
