I am taking my 9 week old to the GP in a few hours as I think he has an ear infection, he is grizzly, pulling on his ears and appears to have alot of wax build up in both ears

I know you are not supposed to clean out the ear too deeply or poke things in their ears (which I haven't) - but can you normally see a fair bit of ear wax? I hadn't noticed it before

Also - what constitutes a temperature - usually Bailey is around 35.8 on our thermometre
