Unhappy Soaking throught nappys at night.

Since MJ has dropped to one BF she has become a heavy night wetter.

I have tried to encourage more day time drinks, but she is not that interested.
She has gone from either waking up dry or with only one wee overnight, to me frequently having to get up and do a full change at 2am.

Her BBH with a single and double booster was dripping wet at 2 am Wednesday nigh
Tuesday night she leaked through a BG with two long boosters
Monday she wet through a MAZ night nappy
over the weekend she leaked through a BBH.

The BBH is more contained as it has the outer cover, but she is waking becasue she is wet and uncomfortable

Prior to going to England we had been foing EC really sucessfully and this was helping, it has now all taken such a bacwards step... im sort of at a loss and neither of us are enjoying the change in the middle of the night

    Any suggestions

I found the same with my BBH's (not to mention the stench in DD's room ).

We ended up going back to sposies at night and continued using the BBH's thru the day.

What kind of covers are you using with it? Maybe a lanolised wool one to let the moisture evaporate of a bit.
I haven't used one of Maz's nn's but have seen them and she must be a big wetter to get through all of that

Regarding the sposies (which you don't want) my DD leaks through them all the time!! I only used them for nights and they drove me insane.
Anyway very glad to tell you that last night my 18 month old woke up without wet pjs or sheets. My secret- a BBH bamboo fitted with the two inserts and a BBH night booster tri-folded followed by our new BBH wool cover!
So not sure what cover you used but this is the only one that she hasn't leaked though. The coloured wool covers are $15 on the BBH website down from $25 as they are changing colours or something like that!

With DS we found the BBH were no good, also BG, even with extra boosting. We use night nappies with extra boosting with a wool cover (and fleece pants over the top) - that works pretty well. Especially now we're cutting out the night feeds.

I have 2 wool covers, had forgotten about them totally, put them away somewhere - going to lanolise it toady.
    Last night was better...
I think that she has a big drink at dinner and then one at bed time and as she has a bigger bladder now she doesnt always wee before the final nappy change...
will give the Wool cover ago.

Re the MAZ nappy, its brilliant and has so many layers its not funny - she is a mega wetter some nights. To anyone reading this, its not a reflection of Maz's night naps, more on MJ massive wee's.
Up until about 2 weeks ago i was trying to wash it daily so she could wear it every night and when we were in England she did wear it every night as i was washing every morning and then line/radiator and tumbled dried each day and we never had a leak

some people have been known to put a BBH long booster on the outside of their NN for the extra support.

Its winter to hon and I dont know why but kids seem to pee more Vy is out wetting her NN atm were 4 months ago she didnt need a nappy at all at night and Mateauz is drenched some mornings and it doesnt matter what NN he wears, sandman, snoozie or WC.

FWIW - I didnt take it as a reflection hon

get some different night nappies. Whizz Kidz, Bizy Bee, Genesa Forge super nights, Mirabai, iishfly, wild child. Probably the best ones IMO.
Teamed with a good pair of woolies. We either got longies on their own, or shorties/soaker under PJ's.

Do you lanolise your woolies, i assume that you do? I have a pair that were made as an outfit when she was little( that she didnt really wear), they would be perfect now... they would be about 3/4 lenght.
Maybe i should invest in a good pair of longies...
Humm this is going to make me spend more $$$ when i promised myself no more!!! I seriously have far to many nappies
