AF - BF & taking minipill. Am confused :-/

I am a little confused because I seem to have AF again but she was only just here 2 weeks ago. I started taking Microlut (mini pill) a month ago. I hadn't had AF as of then so I just started taking it straight away. 2 weeks later I got AF which was fine. Slightly heavier than a normal period but ok. Then today I have a light loss which looks like AF starting again. I don't have any pains or anything. Is my body just working itself out again and getting back to 'normal'? WDYT?

It could just be your body adjusting to the hormone levels or it could be that you will have constant bleeding on the mini pill. I was unable to take it as I had bleeds constantly. When I stopped taking it I didn't get AF again for months.

To know which it is you will probably need to give it another month or two. If it doesn't settle you might need to discuss other options with your GP.

Just as another tip.. From what I have been told you still need to use condoms even if Bf as the mini pill is not 100% effective..

I chose not to as I figured why bother with the chemicals in my body if I have to use condoms as well.

Thanks for your responses. I will take the next packet/month and see how I go. I certainly won't be willing to have 2 periods per month so may have to look at another option there.
