    Rumparooz G2's

Just wondering if anyone has used any of these?? They look pretty good but I just want some reviews on them before I consider buying them.

I got a sample of Rumperoos about a year ago and they ahve some excellent design specs like the built in gussets! Very noice but the lycra tabs were WAAAAYYYY too stretchy. They were almost crossing over on my 18mth old and it didn't loook nice with a minky nappy and then lycra tabs.

But from having a look at the website they have redesigned the lycra tabs but I would be specifically asking about these and what they have done to restrict the stretch before buying any.

Thanks Saram. I did a google search on them and found some other people had commented on those tabs as well. But the website says that is the old model but I might write them a email and ask them how they have rectified that problem now. Thanks.

Ok I've just got my dirty little mitts on one.

I didn't notice any problem with the tabs, they just seemed like any other tabs, stretchy, but not overly so. They didn't cross over with DS and everyone knows how skinny he is!!

The gussets are good - very impressed with those.

Absorbency - I didn't even pre-wash it and I got 3 hours out of it, and only changed it because he pooped, not because he wet through. And this is a kid who outwets an itti in an hour and a half. So thumbs up on that.

The only thumbs down for me - the top of the nappy kept folding inwards, so the velcro across the top would rub against his belly all the time, I don't think it particularly bothered him, but it bothered me that it was there rubbing - can't be good yeah? I don't have this problem with say, my bumg's, happy heiny's or green kids, so I'm not sure its a "shape" problem - more its a design problem.

Interesting to see if other people have the same problem too. I'm yet to try it on DD - cos its been pooped in!! lol

I have no idea what G2 is, , but I have a rump-a-rooz here, OSFM, pocket, leg gussets, minkee, with the stretchy velcro tabs, that I have never used. It was sent to me second hand but in great cond. I dont do pockets now so never used it.

You can have it if you wanna cover post babe.
