I have a benign cyst that is full of blood in my thyriod gland that means I have to have half the gland removed because it is unstable and can bleed more anytime. It has been biopsied 4 times the past year and has always come back. Has anyone else had something similar or had a hemithyriodectomy?

The op was supposed to be this coming monday but now has been postponed to the 15th july because of a mix up with the doctors operation schedules.
