Red rash on face - Sending me nuts

All thoughout this pregnancy I have had a mild red rash around my mouth and chin area. I have been able to hide it with make up and it hasn't been itchy at all.

Well the rash is not bright red, extremely itchy and thick and it has spread further up my face and under my chin.

Anyone have any idea what this could be?

BTW - I had a facial on Friday and it wasn't irriated until the next day. Ever since it has been driving me nuts

I had that this time too. Can't remember what they said it was. Was given dermaid, it's either .5 or .05% so very mild. I'd say your facial did irritate it.

I'd say it was the facial too hon. Our skin can react very differently to lotions and potions (sorry, couldn't think if the right words - preggy brain!) during pregnancy. Things that normally wouldn't affect us can cause problems with our skin due to our elevated hormone levels. I'd go to your gp and see if you can get some cream to help it.

Ahhhh, the joys of pregnancy!

If it's bothering you, I'm sure your GP would be able to prescribe a cream to help, at least with the itch.

I have a similar sounding rash - but on my right boob! Red and itchy and gets thick and raised when irritated. My midwife suggested Bio-oil and it seems to have helped heaps so far after just two applications.
