    Heartrate question

    Hi all,

    Just a quick question:
I have hired a doppler and it arrived today.
Of course I couldn't wait to try it out.
The CD doesn't seem to want to work on my computer- so I decided to wing it.
It seems that I found the heartbeat, but it only registered at 140 bpm?
Shouldn't it be faster than this?

I was going to day 140 seems very normal and I've heard that means boys too. I think it's meant to be over 120 and if it was between 100-120 that woul dbe okay too. Try not to stress youself out!! Maybe baby was sleeping!

Yeah it should be roughly double yours... so say 110 - 160. and it will change depending on bubs level of activity...

The normal heart rate should be between 110 and 160. It is also normal for for it to be faster or slower than this for short periods of time
