    Stretchmarks...

    Just a quick question...

My Stretchmarks are still quite painful, I'm 3 weeks 1 day post partum and while they aren't itchy anymore (like they were in preg) they are still just as painful.

Is it normal? If so when should the pain ease?

Is there something I can try other than stretchmark cream or moisturiser... or is there a particular brand I can try?

    Thanks

    Anyone?

Just need to know if I should be concerned?

I'm still getting night sweats too and often end up stuck to my bed sheets by my stretchmarks... please help?

    Sorry Sally,

My stretch marks have only ever been itchy - never painful.
    I use Palmers Cocoa butter.
Sorry - i havent been of any help - maybe ask a doctor or naturopath or at the chemist ?

    Hope they get better soon

Mine were pretty mild but completely disappeared after a few months. I used Palmers Tummy Butter throughout the pregnancy & from about a week after giving birth for a few months.

Mine haven't been very painful that I can remember.
Maybe ask your gp. I think it sounds like your hormones are still a bit out of wack.
    Hope you feel better soon

BTW - LOVE your new avvy!!!

Mine were terribly itchy last few weeks of being PG but I believe I had the condition called PUPPPS. Was awfully itchy!! Once I had DD they stopped being itchy but i STILL have stretch marks they are just slowly fading.... ever so slowly

i had night sweats for first 2-3 wks too from memory. they aren't very nice are they!!? Noone warned me about them either so i had no idea what was going on.
