swollen.. down there

ok so probably the last 2 times DH has been back from work, after we've had sex, i get incredibly swollen "down there" DH said that before we even started doing anything my hoo haa looked well uh, bigger lol. Afterwards i feel bruised down there, and we dont even do it that rough anymore, coz i just cant do it like i used to
Once we've DTD it hurts to sit coz it feels so swollen and bruised

But now its feeling swollen all the time, it doesnt hurt (tho i know when DH comes home and we dtd that it will hurt lol)
I put it down to there being more blood in my body, but is it soemthing else?
I know its a TMI thread but i really have no one else to ask.. its not the kind of thing i can ask my mum about :P

I remember shaving down there when I was about 35 weeks (had a sudden moment of hating the undergrowth ...LOL)
and as I couldn't see anything had to go by feel and screaming out to DH that someone had stolen my snatch because this wasn't it .... all puffy and swollen

It goes back to normal after bubs arrives (well apart from the stretchmarks on it - but that could just be me and my gigantic baby ....LOL)

It is completely normal. There is so much extra blood flow down there during pg, and even during DTD when you are not pg is can become swollen as the blood flow to the area increases. Some women will get it later in pg and others get it quite early. with my 4th pg it was larger by wk 8 but I only got it about 2 days before my edd with my first.

I noticed a few weeks back my giney was inflamed. More the lips of my giney...I had had thrush only a week before, and assumed it was just to do with that, however the next day it had completely gone down and was back to normal.

Im guessing its just all to do with the pregnancy
