11 month old with a sore throat - what can I do?

My 11 month old DD has a really husky voice/cry and obviously has a really sore throat. I've given her nurofen but I really don't know what else I can do... Any suggestions?

I give dd panadol and make up a weak chammile tea with honey. always worked for me.

definately some warm water with a little lemon and honey (if she has had honey before that is) or even just a little honey on a spoon will help soothe her throat. Hope she feels better soon

Thanks guys.... been to the doc, tonsillitis so she is on ABs
but will do with the lemon and honey.... I have some gorgeous tea tree honey which should help
