How do you store ALL your necklaces/beads?

I have LOTS of strings of beads and necklaces...juct cheap ones, but they are currently in a bead ball in a shoe box and when I want to wear one I have to untangle them all.

How / where do you store yours? Any Domestic Goddess tips greatly appreciated!

Fine wire beaded necklaces need to layed flat so they dont get bent or buckled., i store my stock on containers and in large sandwich bags to protect from scratches and you can have them laying flat with tissue paper between them. As for beaded necklaces they can be sandwiched large bagged if need be if they are NOT on a wire.

Oh the fishing tackle box is a good idea ..

I hammered little gold nails neatly in a row in my walk in robe, and they look gorgeous all hanging, and I tend to wear them more now b/c I can see them.

It's like a little shop ..

i use a safety pin and then pin them up on an old knitted scarf. I do this with my earrings, necklaces, bracelets.
